X-RAY

At this project I chose the corset to be my iconic item, as the starting point from which I began my research.

During the research, I came across with the medical corset and his visuality got my attention. As well as the combination with the historical corset a combination that felt unconventional and could lead to something innovative.

I was intrigued by the contrast between the historical corset that damaged the body and the inner organs of the wearer, and on the other hand the medical corset that came to repair body damage, 

to heal.

An image of the woman's interior parts photography I saw during 

the study led me to think about X-rays which led me to the material I used in the project - original X-ray papers. 

I collected old X-ray scans from people and hospitals and used them as my fabric, which I attached by hand with over 1,000 metal rings.
