I chose the Panorama Festival, a music festival that takes place in New York (on Randall's Island) As part of the festival, the HP technology company builds a dome-like structure that introduces participants to an interactive experience that combines design, music and technology. This structure is called the lab which connected me to a lab from my world. In high school I studied high physics and spent a lot of time in the lab - which led me to make a comparison between the two labs and the two worlds. I chose to focus on a specific process in physics - Geometrical optics. The participants' experience of losing time and space, losing their composure in music and lab reminded me of the prismatic explosion process in physics where a ray of light enters and exits as an infinity of colored rays
