In this project I got the designer Rick Owens as my starting point for research. His geometric lines in his designs led me to the Jerusalem String Bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava. And the repeating colors in his collections that are black and white led me to compare the bridge with the ultra-Orthodox religions that assimilate as part of the Jerusalem landscape. And to find the similarities and differences between modern Jerusalem that the String Bridge represents in comparison to the religious historical Jerusalem that the ultra-Orthodox represent.
